Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for these positions, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • Graduate Apprentice (Technical): B.E./B.Tech in the relevant field (Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering) with at least 60% marks or a 6.32 CGPA.

    • Technician Apprentice: A Diploma in any discipline with at least 60% marks or a 6.32 CGPA.

    • Graduate Apprentice (General Stream): A graduation degree (B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com) with at least 60% marks or a 6.32 CGPA.

Selection Process

The selection for the apprentice posts will be based on a three-step process:

  1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications and the marks obtained in their respective degrees or diplomas.

  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. It is essential to have all original documents ready, including educational certificates, ID proofs, and any other relevant documents specified in the official notification.

  3. Medical Examination: A medical examination will be conducted to ensure candidates meet the physical fitness standards required for the position.

  1. NATS Portal Enrollment: First, candidates need to enroll on the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal at www.mhrdnats.gov.in. You must provide your NATS enrollment ID on the UMANG portal during the application process.

  2. Visit UMANG Portal: Go to https://web.umang.gov.in/landing/.

  3. Register or Log In: If you are a new user, register with your mobile number and email ID. Existing users can log in directly.

  4. Fill the Application Form: Provide your personal details, educational qualifications, and other required information.

  5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and educational certificates as per the specified format and size.

  6. Submit Application: Review the form carefully before submitting it. After submission, it's recommended to download and print the confirmation page for your records.
